Sean Brodrick is holding 70% cash, sees $2400 gold in 2012

I attended the Toronto Resource  Investment Conference on Friday and I had an opportunity to listen to Sean Brodrick of Uncommon Wisdom Daily.  I like Sean overall, I don't follow his work closely but I know he is bullish on gold and silver as a theme.

That said, Sean mentioned in his talk that he is currently 70% in cash and he thinks we are in the second week of a potential 6-9 correction in gold (4-7 more weeks correction to go if he is right).  I got the impression that he is looking to accumulate more gold and silver shares but he did say that some of these miners may not drop a lot from here.

I have mentioned this type of trading strategy in a recent blog.  A lot of gold investors are getting in and out of the market hoping to buy low and sell high. This may work some of the time but what I believe is that you can miss massive gains because you just don't know when a big move will come.

For me, I have purchased most of the gold and silver miners that I want to own but there are a select few that I am looking to get a position into.  My subscribers will find out immediately what moves I do.

Oh yes, Sean noted that we could see gold trading at $2400 next year.  If you can pick the right gold and silver stocks, I believe you can make a lot of money if Sean and myself are right on the price of gold/silver.

Cheers,
